Victor Mazon

Artist

Victor Mazón’s artistic practice takes shape through experimentation and questioning the limits of perception, altered states and vulnerability through the use of light and sound. This exercise is carried out using electronic devices of our own production. His work materializes in three areas: place-specific action or performance through experimental processes; the exhibition, in different formats in museums or galleries; and collaborative, through collective work groups or seminars in cultural and academic centers. He has shown his work in museums, biennials, festivals, galleries, radio-television stations, urban screens or billboards in different locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Nepal, Russia, North Africa and numerous countries in Europe. The list includes the Sonandes International Biennial of Sound Art of Bolivia, Moscow Bienal Young Artist Moskow, Tsonami Valaparaiso, Auditum Medellin, Piksel Bergen, SuperCollider Symposium, Transmediale, ARS Electronica, Incubate, Sonic Acts, The Brno Haus of Arts G99, MACO- Oaxaca Contemporary Art Museum, Arts Santa Monica and Reina Sofia Museum, among others.
