Nathan Jones is Senior Lecturer in Fine Art (Digital Media) at Lancaster University. His work combines methods from new media cultures, art criticism and literary practice. This hybrid artistic research, including insights on unicode, AI, speed readers and distributed networks has appeared at transmediale, NEME Cyprus, and Liverpool Biennial, and in PARSE Journal, the Bloomsbury Handbook for Electronic Literature, Media-N Journal, and DATABrowser. He is co-founder of Torque Editions, editing books such as Artists Re:Thinking the Blockchain (2017), The Act of Reading (2015), and BiblioTech (2023). His monograph Glitch Poetics (2022) was nominated for the N.
